International Cultural Exchange

CESCI is providing opportunity to discover Indian culture and to find out about social issues in India. CESCI centre is the ideal place to stay with its simple guest rooms. Peoples can visit a range of social projects including women’s self-help cooperatives, education projects for slum children, medicinal plant projects and reforestation initiatives. At CESCI we also offer a varied program of activity and cultural holidays, ranging from yoga, ayurvedic medicine, or workshops, to visits to the famous temples in the area and an introduction to Indian religions and local customs.

Visiting India and the CESCI Centre

The CESCI Centre offers you the opportunity to gain fascinating insights into India's culture and society and to meet interesting people involved with local social projects. We arrange travel programmes for groups (including groups of students) and individuals. 

CESCI offers simple, clean rooms, (few rooms are with attached bathroom) delicious South Indian vegetarian food and is made very special with its extremely committed and helpful staff.  

Visitors will often have the opportunity to meet social activists from various organizations who are also staying in CESCI centre and who are always delighted to talk about their work. And by staying in CESCI guests make a financial contribution to various social projects in India.

The best times to visit southern India are November to March and July/August (the monsoon season is mid-September to mid-November)

Small groups (five persons and above)

The prices are regularly adjusted to take account of actual process in Indian and can therefore change.

Persons travelling with groups can extend their stay in CESCI provided the Centre has accommodation available.
